Course Description
The Maltese as a Foreign Language course is designed for beginners with little or no previous knowledge of the Maltese language. It provides learners with the essential language skills needed to communicate confidently in everyday situations, with a particular focus on the workplace.
Participants will learn basic vocabulary, common expressions, and practical conversational skills to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, and members of the local community. The course also introduces aspects of Maltese culture and traditions, supporting learners in their integration into both the workplace and Maltese society.
This course can be tailored to specific industries and professional environments, allowing participants to develop language skills relevant to their job roles.

Grades will be awarded using the following scale:
- A: 80–100
- B: 70–79
- C: 50–69
- D: 41–49
- F: 0–40

Delivery of the Course
The course is delivered through interactive classroom sessions focusing on practical communication skills. Lessons include speaking, listening, reading and writing activities, with an emphasis on everyday and workplace situations.
