My internship at the European Vocational Academy in Malta was an excellent experience. The Head of the Academy and the Administrative and Marketing Executive were always very friendly, helpful, and supportive. I was given a wide range of creative tasks, learned many new things, and felt perfectly integrated from the beginning. I highly recommend this company for anyone considering an internship in Malta!

Although I’m not directly hands-on with marketing in my day-to-day work, since I mostly focus on planning and coordinating with my team, I found this social media course incredibly insightful. It gave me a clearer understanding of how to create effective campaigns, the importance of consistent design, the rule of 7, optimal posting times, and the strengths of different platforms for various types of businesses. I now feel much more informed and confident when guiding my team, and I can definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to enhance their social media strategy.

The course was really helpful and easy to follow. I already had some experience with creating reels, designing posts, and using Canva, but I still picked up a lot of useful tips, especially on how to boost ads. For someone who hasn’t done any marketing before and wants help for their personal work, I think this course is super helpful. It was definitely worth taking ☺

My second Erasmus experience was at the European Vocational Academy in Malta. The staff were friendly and supportive and I had the chance to take on new tasks that I hadn’t tried before such as compiling lists of industry partners that can work with the Academy. I also had the opportunity to design some advertorial posters for the many courses that the Academy provides from time-to-time. Of course I was also left with time to visit some interesting places on the beautiful Island of Malta. Overall, it was a very nice experience from which I learnt a lot on good work practices and information on Malta’s rich history.

During my two weeks stay in Malta, I got the opportunity to work at European Vocational Academy. It was a great opportunity that gave me a lot of experience in my field of study. I mainly worked with Word, Excel, which helped me improve my IT skills. My supervisor and my colleagues were kind and patient with me and I really enjoyed the positive atmosphere. I also got the opportunity to use English in a professional environment. Overall, I am really happy that I had the opportunity to work at EVA.

During my internship abroad in Malta, I worked at the European Vocational Academy. I was able to gain insights into marketing, social media and general administrative work. The colleagues I had the privilege of working with were very helpful and friendly and I felt good integrated. They always gave me different tasks, so that I could learn lots of new things and let me participate in everything. In the first week, I was allowed to go to a trade fair with the Head of the Academy and the marketing assistant. I really enjoyed this and am very grateful that they took me along. I am very happy to have had this experience and can only recommend that everyone does an internship abroad in Malta with this company.

My internship at the European Vocational Academy was a great experience. I would
highly recommend getting an internship here; I gained hands-on experience which I directly applied to my college coursework. The team was professional, showed me new skills and truly amazing. I valued the supportive team and the focus on industry-relevant training. James is an ocean of knowledge, a true gent and made me always feel a part of the team. Nothing was an issue for him. A truly professional and excellent place to gain work experience.

My name is Loretta Treacy and I would like to acknowledge the fantastic opportunity I had
over the past two weeks with the European Vocational Academy (EVA) in Malta, supported
by the Erasmus+ programme. Coming from Galway, Ireland, this mobility allowed me to
immerse myself in the fantastic work led by Professor James Calleja. The depth of learning
has been significant, expanding my skills and knowledge. Beyond the professional
development, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable and a true highlight of my year. I
was particularly grateful for Professor Calleja's patience and his fountain of knowledge
which was a masterclass and instrumental in my learning. He also helped us to explore the
beautiful culture and sights in Malta. I genuinely loved my time here. It was an exceptionally
rewarding and enjoyable professional and cultural exchange.

Thank you to Professor Calleja and the EVA team for the warm welcome, patience and
extensive knowledge shared.

Congratulations to the team for organising the course with Kaizen.   Although I generally follow what is happening in AI, a lot of what we learnt was really useful.  Also, the whole organisation of the course (including the venue etc) was very well done.

My internship at EVA European Vocational Academy was an enriching and rewarding experience. As part of the marketing team, I had the opportunity to contribute to important projects, including the development of the EVA Prospectus 2026–2027. This experience helped me improve my communication, creativity, and teamwork skills in a professional international environment. I would especially like to thank Professor James Calleja, Head of the Academy, for his guidance, mentorship, and support throughout my placement. I am also grateful to Andrea, Administrative Executive, for her kindness and assistance whenever needed. I truly appreciate the entire EVA team for this valuable opportunity.
